 Earth element ceremony . - Thanking and completing winter before the spring equinox ceremony. 

Before the 21st of march, finish your winter earth bundle filled with medicine and wisdom symbols that reflect  all you have learned this season. At close to midnight go to a nature spot that has predominantly earth element.  Light four candles of gratitude, 1 in each of the directions.  Bless your bundle with each of the candles and sit and reflect on all the lessons youve learned in the last year. Enter trance, opening to guidance from spirit. Afterwards,  extinguish the candles and receive a blessing from the darkness of midnight and earth element. Say thankfully, " all my relations." .

Gathering the 17 stone relatives-

   The next morning make a small despacho offering to the stone relatives. 

Intend to find 17 small to medium sized stones for shamanic artes - living shamanic companions/magical tools. Go  on a small shamanic walkabout, perform a shamanic embodying practice to awaken the legs and feet, while holding your intention to find these 17 artes in your heart. Gather 17 stones that volunteer, giving small bits of tobacco as offerings as you sing to them.
Bring your stones to the equinox ceremony to be blessed.

Spring equinox . 

Shamanically mediating the spring equinox energies into one's community and utilizing the spring equinox as a portal.

Meditate on the inner nature of the spring equinox,  a solar holiday. The light is currently balanced with the dark moving towards the full light of summer, a time of new beginning......the return of the goddess and her companion the green man from the underworld, the seed, having made it through winter, sprouts .
Find out all you can about its celebration.
Celebrate the vernal equinox exoterically with the kind of celebration suitable to the energies and forces present.  Rising early to greet the rising sun visualize two men fighting, a light one and a dark one,  with the light one winning. 

On the day of the equinox , meet with friends and mediate the spiritual energies to your friends and community. 

Allow the influx of inner vitality to foster sensitivity to important psychic tides as the way to the Otherworld stands open on this eve. Enter the hidden doorway of this holiday shamanically in the evening in between midnight and closer to dawn.

After spring equinox we enter Sector one -Aries.  The stone artes collected before the equinox ceremony are sanctified and enlivened and arranged in a circle and centerstone that represents the zodiacal year and the 5 directions. The artes representing the east and the artes sector 1 Aries ♈  are engaged when the sun enters Aries at the vernal equinox.
